  • What are the benefits of hiring a running coach?

    A running coach is beneficial because they build you a personalize plan based on your fitness levels, history and goals. It is similar to working with a personal trainer - your exercises and workouts are designed for you. They help you customize and adjust based on your schedule and training performance. Our coaches know how to build plans that keep you motivated, healthy and injury free.

  • Who needs a running coach?

    All levels of runners need a coach and can benefit from personalized coaching! Whether your goal is to reach a PR time in your next race or to feel comfortable running 3-5 miles, a running coach will get you there.

  • What does a private session include?

    A private session is an hour long, outdoor, workout with a coach. Depending on goals and current fitness levels, we cover: running form, techniques, pacing and specific exercises. We will do specific workouts with you as well, track, hills or tempo runs.

  • What kind of workouts will I do?

    Workouts are customized on the individual. Examples of weekly workouts are: 4-6 hill repeats, 4x800 at a specific pace. How much and what type depends on your running and fitness levels.If you are just starting out, you might learn how to build your aerobic fitness through run/walk workouts with additional strength exercises designed for runners.

  • How much does it cost & How do I pay?

    We have a few different options for training. Privates coaching is $75-100/hr. Training plans range from $90-200/month. Please see our Services menu for a full list with descriptions. We accept cash, check or credit cards (Visa and Mastercard).

Personal Training

Training sessions are just like working with a personal trainer, but with a running focus. Sessions involve running with your coach, learning proper pacing, speed training, running form, hill training, stretching and srength training as well as real time feedback and support. Each session is designed to achieve whatever your running/fitness goals are; from starting to run to losing weight to training for a personal best in a race.  Training is available throughout New York City. Coming Soon! Personal training in Portland, OR and Santa Monica, CA. 

Training: Brooklyn

Single Training Session (1-hour): $75
3 Single Sessions Pack (1-hour each): $200

Training: Manhattan

Single Training Session (outside of Brooklyn): $100
3 Single Sessions Pack (1-hour each): $270
